About us

Michael R Shannon, MBA

CEO Co-founder

Mr. Shannon is an experienced technology and pharmacy professional. His Computer Engineering Bachelors of Science from Virginia Tech, MBA from the University of Georgia, and practical experience in development, product management, business development, and sales support for various Fortune 500 companies forms the basis for his technological skill-set and business acumen. His adventure into the pharmacy world began when, with his wife Jennifer, he opened Lily’s Pharmacy located in Johns Creek, GA in October 2013. Since the inception of the family pharmacy, Mike has been constantly striving to bring technological improvements to his pharmacy practice and assist other pharmacies to do the same, in order to enhance patient outcomes, optimize pharmacy workflow, and improve the customer service experience. Mike brings with him expertise in the actual practice and operation of an independent pharmacy and the acumen to navigate the business and technology needs of today. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his four amazing children and wife, Jennifer.

Jennifer Shannon, PharmD, BCPS

Our Personal Consultants

Dr. Shannon received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA. Prior to pharmacy school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech -- GO HOKIES). Dr. Shannon completed an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited Primary Care Pharmacy Practice Residency at Grady Health System in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Shannon is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and her areas of special interest include anticoagulation, cholesterol, diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension management. She is the proud owner of an independent pharmacy, Lily's Pharmacy in Johns Creek, GA, which has a successful Transition of Care program with Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Outside of the pharmacy world, her passion lies with her family, including Michael and her four children, Lily, Abby, Mikey, and Violet.
